A gitm for you~Influences Take a piece of paper and draw a line down the center of it. On the left side write - Negative influences and on the right side - Positive influences. Now take a few moments to reflect on all the teachers, coaches and mentors you have had in your life. On the paper, write out all the negative and positive impacts that this individual had in your life at that time. Include skill development, emotional support and resourcing. After completing your list, ponder on how these people may still influence you today, both positively and negatively. Consider these as you move through your day. Every moment we spend with another presents an opportunity in which we choose our words and actions. In these, we also choose to either tear down or build up others.
