The Mission of the Regional Fresh Food Council is a commitment
to a thriving food system by creating environments that support healthy people and a strong food economy.
All are welcome to attend the Regional Food Policy Council. The purpose of the council is to look how to best identify barriers to fresh food access and use local and regional data in planning a framework from which to move forward from.
The team meets the first Friday of each month 9-10 am at various locations throughout the 5 county region.
A current project recently completed is 500 in 5 community conversations. Results will be shared at an upcoming event in August 2017.
