Golda E. Ewalt, MS, RD, LDN, CCC


Golda Ewalt is a big proponent of easy-to-prepare foods made with fresh ingredients to encourage people to live a healthy lifestyle. A registered dietitian/chef, Golda is the Director of the Dietetic Internship Program and Catering Manager at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois. As a clinical dietitian, Golda worked in Cardiac Rehab and has taught healthy eating classes.

Golda is a Western Illinois University graduate, and has a Master’s degree in Health Services Administration and a culinary arts degree from Illinois Central College. She is an active member of the Illinois Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, serving as a past president and media representative for the organization.

Golda has been recognized for her professional abilities, receiving awards for Young Dietitian of the Year; Forty Leaders Under Forty, and Chef of the Year from the Heart of Illinois Professional Chef Association. In 2014 she became a Certified Chef de Cuisine from the American Culinary Association and in 2015 she received the Peoria WEEK 25 Women in Leadership award.

She enjoys cooking, gardening and volunteering at the Peoria RiverFront Farmer’s Market.
