You have signed up for a subscription. You are responsible to pick up your box share at the designated date and time you selected. You may have someone else pick up your box share on your behalf. If no one picks up your box share, your box share will be donated. Your items will be delivered in Fresh condition. You are responsible for getting your items home and stored to ensure freshness.
There are no refunds. This is farming and nothing is certain. You are investing in a seed, a plant, and a hope for a good harvest. Our commitment to you is to make sure the value of the food in each box is equivalent to your cost. Your commitment to us is to set up a recurring CSA box delivery, and to try us out. You can put your order on hold or skip weeks for vacations. If you would like to cancel your account please contact us. Remember, there are no refunds.
Since we work with growers and the weekly produce list is a forecast, sometimes we are wrong. In the case that we do not have an item due to weather or another reason, we reserve the right to sub in another produce item of our choice. We will not credit the original item.
I agree that if I choose to pay by credit card and pay in 2 payments, my card will be billed at the beginning of the second payment term, before I receive my first box of that term. If I choose to pay by check, my deliveries will not begin until my check is received. If I cancel my membership by sending an email, I will not receive a refund for the boxes I have pre-paid for. I can put my account on hold at any time and skip deliveries, but I need to do this one week before that delivery date.
The gitm Foundation will never sell or share your information with a third party. However, we will use the information you provide to communicate with you electronically and through postal mail about the CSA and The gitm Foundation news.
